Digital Media Literacy Seminars Enhance Orlando Area Training Scene

Orlando, FL March 3, 2004 -— After the recent addition of Adobe and Macromedia classes to its existing schedule of innovative courses, The Planet Digital Training Center announces a further expansion of offerings with their Evening Seminar Series of Digital Media Literacy classes. This educational series is aimed at a broad audience and features a rotating five-week schedule of topics covering Digital Imaging, Computer Animation, Graphic Design, Web and Interactive, and Digital Video. The Digital Media Literacy seminars will be complemented by a pair of evening courses that provide more in-depth training in specific areas related to the featured weekly topics.

"Digital Media Literacy classes represent the next step in the evolution of the Planet Digital Training Center, where individuals can come to learn more about the digital world around us." Steve Schain, Executive Director for Training Services and a Discreet Training Specialist, explains, "These evening seminars are designed to provide an insight into emerging technologies without overwhelming students with heavy technical jargon."

The Planet Digital Training Center (PDTC) continues to add new applications to enhance their current course schedule, and rises to meet the demands of today's digital creative professionals. In addition to the new evening seminars, the PDTC offers daytime courses with hands-on digital media training for beginning through advanced users.
